Being awarded prestigious gold stars in the annual Great Taste Awards is on the wish list of many food producers nationwide.

The awards, dubbed the Oscars of the food industry, are judged on taste alone – no packaging or glossy ad or social media campaigns to sway the judges – and as such are one of the most trusted marks by consumers.

Client Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil won a well deserved two gold stars for its Natural Rapeseed Oil that is the base for every product that they make by hand on their farm in the charming village of Thixendale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.

The oil was one of only 1,294 products out of 12,777 entries to be awarded a coveted two stars, whilst sister brand Charlie & Ivy’s White Balsamic, Tarragon and White Peppercorn Bread Dipper was awarded one star. Take a look at the story on the Breckenholme website to see what the judges’ feedback was.
